The offensive line of the Carolina Panthers performed poorly in 2023, ranking among the league’s worst. They allowed a high number of hits, pressures, and sacks, along with a low pass block win rate. To address this, the Panthers made significant changes, including releasing Bradley Bozeman and acquiring two experienced guards, each with over 50 career starts.

The Carolina Panthers have secured Damien Lewis with a lucrative 4-year, $53 million deal. Lewis, who will be entering his fifth year in the league, brings a wealth of experience, having played in 61 games and started in all of them. He is slated to take on the role of starting left guard for the Panthers.

The Carolina Panthers have also inked Robert Hunt to a substantial 5-year, $100 million agreement. Hunt, entering his fifth year, boasts 61 games played with 55 starts under his belt. He is slated to fill the starting role at right guard for the Panthers. With these signings, the Panthers have solidified their starting lineup for the 2024 season, consisting of Ikem Ekwonu at left tackle, Damien Lewis at left guard, Austin Corbett at center, Robert Hunt at right guard, and Taylor Moton at right tackle.
