It seems every Detroit Lions trade rumor revolves around adding another pass rusher alongside Aidan Hutchinson. Well, there’s one standout option that could be available, and the Lions might have a shot at him. The Athletic’s Dane Brugler suggests Detroit should make a bold move in the NFL Draft, trading the No. 28 pick to the Cincinnati Bengals for Trey Hendrickson.
Hendrickson, with 77 career sacks, including back-to-back 17.5-sack seasons, could be a game-changer. While contract talks with the Bengals are still ongoing, a move to Detroit could come with a contract extension in mind.
If the Lions land him, pairing him with Hutchinson could very well be the key to a Super Bowl, making him worth the investment.
