Sherrone Moore, Michigan Building Toward National Title Chase Once Again

Following a turbulent 2024 season that ended with an 8-5 overall record and a 5-4 mark in Big Ten play, Sherrone Moore and the Michigan Wolverines are focused on getting back into national championship form.

Looking ahead to 2025, the quarterback room is shaping up to be a strength. Michigan will feature top-tier talent in Bryce Underwood and transfer Mikey Keene—an instant upgrade and a big reason for optimism.

The Wolverines also landed several major commitments in their 2025 recruiting class, including five-star offensive lineman Andrew Babalola and four-star defensive backs Shamar Earls and Jordan Young.

Now, Michigan is gaining momentum for the 2026 cycle too. On3’s Steve Wiltfong has logged a prediction for three-star quarterback Nathan Bernhard to join the Wolverines.

Bernhard, a 6-foot-5, 220-pound prospect out of Ashland, Ohio, is ranked No. 31 among quarterbacks in his class and No. 541 overall. He also holds offers from Penn State, Michigan State, Louisville, and Iowa State.

As Michigan works to establish long-term success, adding promising arms like Bernhard is key to maintaining depth and future competition at the position.
