Three-star 2026 Utah wide receiver Kai Meza has set an unofficial visit with the Minnesota Gophers for April 11, per 247Sports recruiting analyst Blair Angulo.

Standing at 6-foot, 175 pounds, Meza ranks as Utah’s 14th-best player according to 247Sports. Before heading to Minnesota, he will make stops at UCLA on March 1 and Cal on March 14.

Originally playing at Mountain Ridge High School, Meza transferred to Corner Canyon, where he had a breakout junior season. In 2024, he racked up 57 receptions for 1,131 yards and 10 touchdowns, solidifying his rise in recruiting rankings.

Angulo also noted that Meza impressed at last weekend’s Battle 7-on-7 event in Las Vegas. He holds notable offers from Boise State, Oklahoma State, and Utah, with Minnesota extending its offer last October as his eighth Division I opportunity.

With Minnesota scheduling official visits for 12 recruits in the 2026 class for May and June, Meza remains a key prospect to watch as the recruiting cycle intensifies this spring.
