In the unpredictable world of football, few things are certain—but one guarantee is that Cleveland Browns quarterback Jameis Winston will always put on a show.

From his eccentric pregame speeches to some of the game’s most baffling throws, Winston has become a beloved figure in the league, known for his unpredictability and charisma.

No longer carrying the weight of being a franchise quarterback, he has embraced his role as a backup while remaining a viral sensation on social media.

Before even hitting free agency, Winston has secured a new gig—serving as a digital correspondent for FOX’s Super Bowl coverage. He reacted to the surprising announcement with a social media post:

“See y’all in NOLA!”

According to Front Office Sports, Winston’s role will include creating video content highlighting his favorite restaurants and entertainment spots in New Orleans.

Having spent four seasons with the Saints after his rookie deal with the Buccaneers, Winston is no stranger to the Big Easy. Though primarily a backup, he went 5-2 as a starter in 2021 and won over the fanbase before signing a one-year deal with the Browns.

His now-famous pregame speeches originally gained traction in New Orleans, and his time in Cleveland has only added to his viral moments—whether reacting to Thursday Night Football snow or humorously pleading to be “delivered from pick-sixes.”

With his knack for entertainment and his familiarity with New Orleans, Winston is a natural fit for FOX’s Super Bowl coverage, which will also feature Tom Brady’s highly anticipated debut as a color commentator.

Fans can catch the Super Bowl showdown between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 9.
