Pittsburgh Steelers guard Isaac Seumalo has earned his first Pro Bowl selection in his NFL career. Originally named a Pro Bowl alternate after the Kansas City Chiefs advanced to the Super Bowl, Seumalo will now join the roster after guard Trey Smith’s withdrawal. Seumalo, 31, played in 13 games this season despite missing the first four due to a pectoral injury.

After signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the Steelers in 2023, Seumalo joined from the Philadelphia Eagles. Drafted in 2015 out of Oregon State, Seumalo’s journey from backup to starting guard has been a testament to his perseverance. Now, as a veteran leader, he plays a crucial role for the Steelers’ young offensive line.
