Deion Sanders previously stated he’d only make the leap to the NFL to coach his son, Shedeur. With the 2025 NFL Draft approaching, Coach Prime could potentially reunite with his son in 2026 if Shedeur goes No. 1 overall.

CBS Sports’ John Breech suggested the Tennessee Titans might be in play for Deion if they draft Shedeur, especially if their 2025 season falls short. Breech speculated that should the Titans struggle with Shedeur in his rookie year, they could move on from head coach Brian Callahan. With the Titans already making quick coaching changes in recent years, it wouldn’t be a shock if they looked to bring in Coach Prime to lead the team and pair Shedeur with his father for the 2026 season.

If Shedeur Sanders falls in the draft, the Las Vegas Raiders could be a potential landing spot, holding the No. 6 overall pick. OutKick’s Armando Salguero reported that the Raiders are one team that could entice Coach Prime to leave Colorado for the NFL soon.

Salguero noted that while there’s no confirmation yet on whether Deion Sanders is on the Raiders’ coach interview list, it would make the most sense for a reunion between Shedeur and his father in the NFL. However, the situation remains uncertain, as other teams could trade up for higher picks, such as the Patriots, Browns, or even Tennessee if they decide to stick with Will Levis. But by that time, those teams will have already hired coaches, possibly making their decision without the certainty of having Shedeur Sanders on board.
