Cincinnati Bengals rookie tight end Erick All has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his right knee during the Bengals’ Week 9 victory over the Las Vegas Raiders. Head coach Zac Taylor confirmed the news following the game, noting the unfortunate timing as All had become an important contributor in his first NFL season.

All, a fourth-round draft pick from Iowa, played in all nine games this season, making six starts. He caught 20 of 22 targets for 158 yards, demonstrating solid efficiency and promising hands as he adapted to the Bengals’ offense. Notably, All transferred to Iowa from Michigan for his final college year, aiming to hone his skills in a program known for developing NFL-caliber tight ends. Unfortunately, this isn’t his first ACL injury; he also sustained a similar injury in college last October, which he managed to recover from in time for the draft.

With All sidelined, veteran Mike Gesicki, currently leading the tight end room, will likely take on a more significant role in the offense. Gesicki’s one-year deal provides All a pathway to secure a larger role next season, but this latest injury means All’s recovery will be key to his NFL future.
