Russell Wilson Indicates NFL Future With Denver Real Estate Move

The Pittsburgh Steelers are actively searching for a new quarterback, leading to speculation about various available options. According to former Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, the Steelers’ next starting quarterback is already decided. Johnson claimed on the Nightcap podcast that he heard from a reliable source that Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson will join the Steelers in the upcoming offseason. Despite still being under contract with the Broncos, Wilson is anticipated to be released before free agency begins. Although Denver owes him $30 million in signing bonuses, they are reportedly willing to incur an $86 million dead cap to part ways. Despite the Steelers expressing confidence in Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett as their top choices, many continue to speculate about the team’s next quarterback. In addition to Wilson, names like Justin Fields, Kirk Cousins, and Jimmy Garoppolo have been mentioned as potential candidates for Pittsburgh. Wilson, aged 35, boasts a career record of 115-72-1 as an NFL starter. Last season, he went 7-8 with the Broncos before being sidelined due to injury guarantees late in the year.
