The New York Jets suffered a 35-10 defeat to the Denver Broncos in Week 4 of the 2024 NFL season, bringing their record to 2-2.

In any team loss, it’s a collective effort, but certain individual performances tend to stand out, as was the case at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Here’s a look at Jets Wire’s stock report following the Jets’ loss to the Broncos:

Stock Down: RB Breece Hall
It was a rough day for Hall. He managed only 4 yards on 10 carries and wasn’t involved in the passing game as much as in previous weeks. His errors near the goal line were costly and hard to overlook.

Stock Down: Jets Offensive Line
Hall and quarterback Aaron Rodgers both struggled, and the offensive line was a major factor. Rodgers took 14 hits and was sacked five times, raising concerns about protection.

Stock Up: RB Braelon Allen
While the offense had a tough day, Allen’s performance stood out. He carried the ball eight times for 34 yards, and with Hall struggling near the goal line, some are suggesting Allen should have taken those critical carries.

Stock Down: WR Xavier Gipson

Gipson had a disappointing day, catching only one of four targets. The performance sparked comparisons to Malachi Corley, who many believe could be a better option.

Stock Down: DL Will McDonald IV
McDonald started the season strong, but despite leading the Jets with three QB pressures, his performance against the Broncos fell short of expectations.

Stock Up: CB DJ Reed
The Broncos targeted Reed in the passing game, but rookie QB Bo Nix got nothing past him. Reed earned an impressive 90.2 grade from Pro Football Focus, allowing just one catch that resulted in a tackle for loss.

Stock Up: Quincy Williams

Linebacker Quincy Williams was another standout, recording seven tackles, including two for loss. He was the highest-rated Jets player by PFF, scoring a 91.1.

Stock Down: HC Robert Saleh
When a team racks up 15 penalties (with 13 accepted for a loss of 90 yards), questions arise about discipline and coaching. Saleh’s leadership is being called into question after the undisciplined performance.
