Oklahoma State Lands Nation-Leading Receiver from NCAA Transfer Portal

Oklahoma State has secured its sixth wide receiver via the NCAA transfer portal, and their latest pickup is easily the most prolific yet.

Terrill Davis, a standout at Central Oklahoma, led all NCAA divisions in 2024 with 1,609 receiving yards on 109 catches. He also racked up 15 touchdowns while helping guide the Bronchos to a 10-1 record and an MIAA Championship. Now, the Choctaw, Oklahoma native is set to suit up for the Cowboys in 2025.

Standing 6-foot, 180 pounds, Davis was an unranked prospect coming out of high school. After entering the portal on April 9, it took just two weeks for him to commit to Oklahoma State—his first Power Four offer. He chose the Cowboys over interest from Boise State, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Tulsa, and others.

“It’s exciting and nerve-wracking because you never really know what’ll happen,” Davis told 247Sports. “It’d be huge to stay close to home with all my family here. Ultimately, I just want to go where the opportunity is best.”

Oklahoma State will kick off its 2025 season on Thursday, August 28, against UT Martin.
