Miami Hurricanes Add Three-Star OL JJ Sparks to 2026 Recruiting Class
Mario Cristobal and the Miami Hurricanes continue to build their future offensive line, securing a commitment from three-star offensive lineman JJ Sparks.
Sparks’ Decision
Despite having an official visit scheduled for June 13, Sparks wasted no time in pledging to Miami after spending the past weekend on campus. The Thursday-Saturday visit gave him all the assurance he needed.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me with this opportunity,” Sparks announced on X. “To my family for their love and support. To my coaches, thank you for pushing me to be the best version of myself on and off the field. After much prayer and consideration, I’m proud to announce my commitment to the University of Miami.”
Miami’s Growing 2026 Class
Sparks becomes the eighth commit in Miami’s 2026 class, joining fellow offensive lineman Joel Ervin, who committed earlier in the week.
Class of 2026 Miami Commits:
- CB Camdin Portis (Charlotte, NC) – Committed 10/27/2024
- LB Jordan Campbell (Opa Locka, FL) – Committed 11/21/2023
- QB Dereon Coleman (Orlando, FL) – Committed 07/03/2024
- OT Ben Congdon (Mineral City, OH) – Committed 3/3/2025
- CB Jaelen Waters (Seffner, FL) – Committed 3/7/2025
- RB Javian Mallory (Boca Raton, FL) – Committed 3/22/2025
- OL Joel Ervin (Fort Myers, FL) – Committed 3/29/2025
With Sparks now on board, Miami continues to stockpile talent in the trenches as Cristobal looks to reshape the Hurricanes’ offensive line for years to come.
