Will Howard Gears Up for Ohio State Pro Day with Familiar Targets

Quarterback Will Howard is set to take a crucial step in his NFL Draft journey at Ohio State’s Pro Day, where his performance could significantly impact his standing on the 2025 draft board.

Howard will have the advantage of throwing to two well-known targets—Buckeyes wide receivers Carnell Tate and Brandon Inniss. According to Eleven Warriors’ Chase Brown, Ohio State head coach Ryan Day confirmed that the duo will run routes for Howard during the event.

Ohio State’s Pro Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 26, providing Howard with a prime opportunity to impress scouts. ESPN currently ranks him as the sixth-best quarterback in the 2025 class and No. 81 overall, projecting him as a third-round pick.

NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein has drawn comparisons between Howard and former Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles, praising Howard’s size, toughness, and accuracy while questioning his ability to handle complex NFL defenses.

With a big day ahead, Howard will look to prove he’s more than just a backup prospect and solidify his draft stock.
