After garnering interest from multiple teams, Rondale Moore has officially found his next destination. The Minnesota Vikings have announced they’ve reached an agreement with the free-agent wide receiver.
Moore’s free-agency journey began with a visit to Minnesota last week, followed by meetings with the Bears, Jets, and Titans, the latter taking place on Wednesday. Ultimately, he opted to join the Vikings to continue his NFL career.
A former second-round pick, Moore saw his 2024 season cut short by a training camp injury with the Falcons. Despite the setback, he remained a sought-after target in free agency, securing a deal before bigger names like Stefon Diggs, Amari Cooper, Keenan Allen, and Tyler Lockett.
During his time in Arizona, Moore showcased his versatility as an offensive weapon, averaging 45 receptions per season from 2021 to 2023 while also contributing in the ground game with 52 carries for 249 yards. He even had an extended stint as a returner in his rookie year, adding another dimension to his skill set.
The Vikings are set to bring back their top three receivers—Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and Jalen Nailor—for the 2025 season. However, with room for depth behind that trio, Moore will have an opportunity to carve out a role in Minnesota’s offense. After a full year to recover, he’ll be ready to compete for a key spot in the Vikings’ receiving corps.
