Gophers linebacker Cody Lindenberg will meet with teams but will skip on-field drills at the NFL Combine, opting to showcase his skills during Minnesota’s Pro Day on March 19, per KSTP’s Darren Wolfson.
Lindenberg is one of six Gophers invited to this year’s combine, running from Thursday to Sunday in Indianapolis. He led Minnesota in tackles last season with 94, including five for loss, while also recording seven passes defended, a sack, and an interception. His strong performance earned him All-Big Ten First Team honors from the coaches.
A native of Anoka, Minn., Lindenberg had another year of college eligibility but officially declared for the NFL Draft on Dec. 20. He recently competed in the Senior Bowl on Feb. 1, impressing scouts during practices.
Joining Lindenberg at the combine are fellow Gophers standouts: quarterback Max Brosmer, wide receiver Daniel Jackson, offensive tackle Aireontae Ersery, edge rusher Jah Joyner, and cornerback Justin Walley.
