Notre Dame has officially named Ja’Juan Seider as its new running backs coach, bringing in the former Penn State assistant to lead the Fighting Irish backfield. Seider, known for developing elite talent, takes over a unit featuring Jeremiyah Love and Jadarian Price, running behind one of the top offensive lines in the nation.
With nearly two decades of collegiate coaching experience, Seider has built a reputation for molding top-tier running backs. At Penn State, he helped Kaytron Allen and Nicholas Singleton achieve record-breaking success, including the program’s first 1,000-yard rushing duo. His recruiting prowess has also been widely recognized, earning accolades such as 247Sports’ Big Ten Recruiter of the Year in 2023.
Before his tenure at Penn State, Seider made significant coaching stops at Florida, West Virginia, and Marshall, mentoring future NFL stars like Miles Sanders, Geno Smith, and Pat White. Now, he brings his expertise to South Bend, where he will look to continue his success with Notre Dame.
