Notre Dame continues its tradition of producing top NFL prospects, and this offseason is no exception.

Among the standout names entering the draft, quarterback Riley Leonard and cornerback Benjamin Morrison are two players to watch closely. Morrison, in particular, remains a fascinating prospect despite missing most of the 2024 season due to a hip injury. Still widely projected as a first-round pick, he’s drawing plenty of attention.

In a recent mock draft from Ian Valentino of The 33rd Team, Morrison lands with the Minnesota Vikings at No. 24 overall. Valentino highlights that while the Vikings could target an interior lineman, they may address that need in free agency, making Morrison an ideal choice to elevate Brian Flores’ defense.

At 6-foot, 190 pounds, Morrison has been a playmaker in the secondary, amassing 84 tackles, nine interceptions, 18 pass breakups, and a defensive touchdown in 31 games at Notre Dame. His speed and ball-hawking ability make him a dangerous weapon against opposing receivers.

With months to go before the 2025 NFL Draft, nothing is set in stone, but if Morrison is available when Minnesota is on the clock, it wouldn’t be a shock to see them select him.
