Could Mike Zimmer Return to the Bengals?
Recently released from his contract with the Cowboys, Zimmer had signed a one-year deal with Dallas during the previous offseason.
The 68-year-old, who served as the Bengals’ defensive coordinator under Marvin Lewis from 2008 to 2013, remains a respected figure both within the Bengals organization and across the NFL.
While it’s unclear if Cincinnati has any interest in reuniting with Zimmer, it wouldn’t be surprising if team leadership considers the possibility. His experience and defensive expertise could provide a boost to a unit that faced challenges throughout the 2024 season.
