Following the announcement of Louisville defensive tackle Jared Dawson joining the team, it was confirmed that the Fighting Irish are also adding a new kicker to their roster.

Noah Burnette joins Notre Dame as a graduate transfer from North Carolina, where he had a standout career.
During his time with the Tar Heels, Burnette successfully converted 49 of 62 field goal attempts (79.0%), including an impressive 95% accuracy rate (19 of 20) in 2023.
In 2024, Burnette was reliable from within 39 yards, making 8 of 9 attempts. However, he was 8 of 12 from beyond 40 yards. Over his three seasons at North Carolina, he scored 285 points and boasts a career-long kick of 52 yards.
