The Denver Broncos have had three players selected to the 2025 Pro Bowl, according to the NFL’s announcement on Thursday. Along with these three honorees, eight other Broncos players have been named alternates for the prestigious all-star game.
The players named as Pro Bowl alternates are: guard Quinn Meinerz (first alternate), long snapper Mitch Fraboni (first), kicker Wil Lutz (third), tackle Garett Bolles (third), fullback Mike Burton (fourth), defensive lineman Zach Allen (fourth), quarterback Bo Nix (fourth), and safety Brandon Jones (fifth). These players will be eligible to join the Pro Bowl roster if any of the selected players withdraw.
- Quinn Meinerz is known for his remarkable pancake blocks, and his overall Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade of 86.1 ranks fifth among NFL guards.
- Mitch Fraboni earned second-team All-Pro honors last season and has continued to impress in 2024, contributing five tackles on punt coverage while snapping for punter Dixon.
- Wil Lutz has made 30 field goals this season, ranking sixth in the AFC and seventh in the NFL overall. His 90.9% field goal percentage ranks fifth in the AFC, and he was perfect on extra points this season. Lutz is also the best in the league from 40-49 yards, with an 11-of-11 record.
- Garett Bolles has allowed just two sacks this season, and his PFF pass-blocking grade of 88.8 ranks fifth among offensive tackles.
- Mike Burton, the top-ranked fullback on PFF, has excelled as a blocker, with a pass-blocking grade of 75.8. In addition to his blocking duties, Burton has rushed for two touchdowns and accumulated six first downs this season.
- Zach Allen has been a dominant force on the defensive line with 73 pressures, 8.5 sacks, and 39 QB hits. He also recorded 15 tackles for loss, a safety, and a pass breakup.
- Bo Nix has had a stellar season, with 30 total touchdowns, ranking fourth in the AFC. His 93-yard touchdown is the third-longest in the NFL, and he has taken the fewest sacks among the league’s quarterbacks.
- Brandon Jones has recorded three interceptions, tying for fourth in the AFC, and leads the Broncos with 114 tackles. Jones has also broken up 10 passes and forced and recovered a fumble in 2024.
The 2025 Pro Bowl Games will take place on February 2 at Camping World Stadium in Orlando. Last season, the NFC defeated the AFC in a thrilling 64-59 contest.
