The Baltimore Ravens sought to strengthen their secondary during the season by attempting to acquire former All-Pro cornerback Tre’Davious White before the trade deadline. Although White is no longer performing at the elite level he once achieved with the Buffalo Bills, the Ravens saw this move as a short-term solution to finish out the season. While the addition didn’t provide the long-term impact they may have hoped for, Baltimore is in a strong position to build its secondary for the future.

A significant step in this process came last year when the Ravens used a first-round pick to draft Nate Wiggins. Wiggins has already demonstrated his potential to evolve into a star cornerback, making him a cornerstone for the team’s defensive plans. Now, Baltimore has the opportunity to further solidify its secondary by pairing Wiggins with another talented young prospect.

Travis May of A to Z Sports projects the Ravens to select Notre Dame cornerback Benjamin Morrison with the No. 26 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Despite being limited to just six games during the 2024 season due to injury, Morrison’s track record speaks volumes. In his collegiate career with the Fighting Irish, he established himself as a lockdown defender, recording 18 passes defended, nine interceptions, and five tackles for loss over three seasons.

If the Ravens follow through with this selection, Morrison and Wiggins could form one of the league’s most formidable cornerback duos. Both players possess the skills and potential to anchor Baltimore’s defense for years to come. With Morrison’s proven ability to make plays in the secondary and Wiggins’ already impressive trajectory, the Ravens are positioned to create a secondary that will be both dynamic and feared across the league.
