On the heels of National Signing Day for the 2025 class, Notre Dame Football has already started building momentum for 2026 by securing a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Sullivan Garvin.
Standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 300 pounds, Garvin hails from Allegan High School in Michigan. The talented lineman has drawn offers from numerous programs, including Indiana, Purdue, Kansas, and Washington, but ultimately chose to join Marcus Freeman’s squad at Notre Dame.
“I have a great relationship with the staff, and they’ve always believed in me,” Garvin shared with MLive. He praised offensive line coach Joe Rudolph for his confidence in his potential, saying, “Coach Rudolph believes I can be the number one lineman in the country.”
Ranked as the eighth-best player in Michigan according to the 247Sports composite, Garvin is Notre Dame’s first offensive lineman commit for the 2026 recruiting cycle and the fifth player overall in the class. His addition bolsters the early foundation of the Fighting Irish’s future lineup and highlights the program’s emphasis on strong, early recruiting efforts under Freeman’s leadership.
