The Los Angeles Rams have elevated OT Geron Christian and DE Jonah Williams from the practice squad to the active roster ahead of their Week 11 matchup, according to the transaction wire.
Williams, 29, initially joined the Rams in 2020 as an undrafted free agent. After training camp, he was waived and re-signed to the team’s practice squad. Following the 2020 season, Williams signed a futures contract with the Rams but was waived in November 2021, later returning to the practice squad.
In February 2022, Los Angeles signed Williams to another futures contract, and he remained with the team until his contract expired after the 2023 season. He then spent time with the Vikings, moving on and off their practice squad before the Rams signed him off Minnesota’s practice squad last month.
In 2024, Williams has played in one game for the Vikings and four games for the Rams, recording two tackles.
