However, ESPN’s Chris Low reported that Iamaleava successfully cleared all concussion protocols and received medical clearance to play.
Head coach Josh Heupel expressed optimism throughout the week, noting that Iamaleava practiced and showed positive signs of readiness. Ultimately, the decision rested with the medical staff, who gave the green light for the quarterback to return.
