The Cleveland Browns have several key decisions looming this offseason, and they’ll have a decent budget to work with in free agency. Whether they can land any top-tier free agents is uncertain, but making strategic, cost-effective signings could give them significant returns.

Alex Ballentine from Bleacher Report suggests that one under-the-radar target for Cleveland could be Philadelphia Eagles tight end Jack Stoll. Known for his blocking skills rather than his receiving stats, Stoll has been an asset to Philadelphia’s offense, contributing to the team’s strong rushing game. Ballentine notes that while Stoll’s reception stats are modest—just two catches for 10 yards this season, totaling 22 receptions for 193 yards since his 2020 debut—his blocking is where he shines, particularly in 12 personnel formations.

Stoll’s strength in run blocking has helped the Eagles rank as one of the top rushing offenses in the league, supported by star players like Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley. If signed, Stoll would bring a physical edge to Cleveland’s front, creating more running opportunities for the Browns’ backfield.

Although Stoll may not be a headline-grabbing addition, his practical contributions could make a meaningful impact on the Browns’ offense in 2025. The 26-year-old’s skill set would bolster the Browns’ blocking game, enhancing their overall versatility on the field.
