As No. 18 Michigan gears up for today’s matchup against No. 11 USC, the Big Ten Conference has issued availability reports for both teams.
Michigan tight end Colston Loveland, who exited last week’s game against Arkansas State due to an upper body injury, has been ruled ‘Out’ for today’s contest. Loveland, the team’s leader in receptions (19) and receiving yards (187) this season, is one of college football’s top players. His absence adds pressure to new starting quarterback Alex Orji and an offense that has struggled in the first three weeks.
Along with Loveland, Michigan will be without freshman running back/returner Jordan Marshall , defensive backs Jaden Mangham**, **Micah Pollard**, and **Rod Moore**, as well as special teamer **Jason Hewlett**. Graduate senior quarterback **Jack Tuttle** is listed as ‘Questionable’ for the third straight week, with linebacker **Jimmy Rolder** also ‘Questionable.’
Kickoff between Michigan and USC is set for 3:30 p.m. ET, with the game airing on CBS.
