Dallas Cowboys fans were alarmed during the season opener when star tight end Jake Ferguson suffered a knee injury and had to leave the game. Concerns grew that he might be out for an extended period, but recent updates have been increasingly positive.
On Friday, the Cowboys received excellent news: Ferguson returned to practice as a full participant after recovering from a mild MCL sprain. He had attempted to come back in Week 2, even testing his knee before the team’s loss to the New Orleans Saints, but was ultimately held out for an additional week.
Now, he’s been cleared to play, which will significantly enhance the offense. Last season, Ferguson enjoyed a breakout performance with 71 receptions for 761 yards and five touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl selection.
The Cowboys are set to face the Ravens on Sunday, September 22, with kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET.
