Recently, *Kentucky Insider* sat down with four-star ATH/CB Andrew Purcell from Enterprise High School in Enterprise, AL. Purcell, ranked as the 25th-best ATH in the country, was on campus last weekend for an official visit during the Georgia game.

Despite standing at just 5-foot-9 and 185 pounds, Purcell is an explosive athlete with big-play potential. A dual-sport athlete excelling in basketball and track, he credits his versatility and success to his outstanding athleticism.

Purcell received offers from numerous top programs, including Georgia, Miami, Clemson, and Florida. When asked why he chose Kentucky, Purcell emphasized his strong connection with the coaching staff, stating, “The communication stood out. They contacted me daily, and that really set them apart.”

This sentiment is common among recruits regarding Mark Stoops and his staff. Purcell specifically mentioned Defensive Backs coach Chris Collins as his primary recruiter, with whom he maintained close contact.
