Officially listed as a 5-foot-11, 160-pound cornerback from Ruston, LA, Aidan Anding is currently ranked as the No. 401 player nationally according to the On3 Industry Ranking, and he holds the No. 2 spot among players at his position in Louisiana.
A standout at Ruston High School, Anding brings an impressive athletic background to LSU, highlighted by his experience in basketball and track and field, alongside his football achievements. This multi-sport athleticism undeniably enhances his ability to cover some of the top in-state wide receivers, combining his solid length, speed, and fierce competitiveness to become a potential impact player at the Power Four level.
With today’s commitment, LSU’s 2025 recruiting class is now ranked No. 3 nationally and No. 2 in the SEC, boasting 25 total commitments. Anding is the fifth defensive back to join the Tigers, allowing Brian Kelly and his coaching staff to shift their focus to other areas of need, such as the offensive line, where they currently have just four commitments.
That said, the purple and gold are in a strong position with months remaining until National Signing Day. At this point, any additional commitments would be icing on the cake for what could shape up to be an impressive class of 2026.
