The 19-year-old Toviano is accused of recording himself engaging in sexual activity with a woman without her consent, according to the arrest warrant. The woman discovered videos on Toviano’s iPad, which had been recorded using a hidden camera embedded in a clock placed near the bed.

The woman told police that Toviano had secretly recorded their encounters despite her explicit request not to do so.

Toviano has admitted to using the hidden camera in the clock to record the encounters, as detailed in the arrest warrant.

In response, LSU has suspended Toviano from all team activities in accordance with their policies. The Tigers are set to begin practice on August 1.

Toviano, a highly regarded player from Arlington, Texas, was ranked among the Top 100 recruits out of high school and was anticipated to compete for a starting position this season. He concluded his freshman year with 33 tackles and one pass breakup, playing both cornerback and nickel. With his suspension, it remains uncertain if his career with LSU is over.
