As the trade deadline approaches, Braves fans will be closely following the rumors, hoping for another strategic move from Alex Anthopoulos. According to MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand, Atlanta is a potential landing spot for three trade candidates whose value is on the rise.

**Jesse Winker, OF, Nationals**

With the recent promotion of Washington’s top prospect James Wood, Winker might be on the move. He had an impressive June, and Feinsand highlights his solid season stats (nine homers, 38 RBIs, .787 OPS in 83 games) and his stellar June performance (.304/.421/.430). Winker’s overall performance has improved, now boasting a 122 OPS+. He could be a valuable platoon partner with Adam Duvall, especially given his .862 OPS against right-handed pitchers. While the Braves acquired Eddie Rosario, Winker might be a better fit.

**Zach Eflin, RHP, Rays**
The Braves have a strong rotation, but depth is always crucial. Eflin has a 3.92 ERA in 15 starts this season, with a notable 3.49 ERA over 28 1/3 innings in June. Though the Braves’ current rotation is solid, adding Eflin could be beneficial, particularly for future seasons. Eflin, with an $18 million price tag in 2025, could be a bargain if he replicates his 2023 performance, which included a sixth-place finish in the Cy Young race with a 3.50 ERA, 3.01 FIP, 1.024 WHIP, and a remarkable 7.75 K/BB across 177.2 innings.

**Randy Arozarena, OF, Rays**
Randy Arozarena, the 2021 Rookie of the Year, has seen a dip in production but had a strong June, slashing .291/.424/.468. With two years of team control remaining, Arozarena could be a great fit for the Braves, bringing energy and postseason experience (a .336 average with 11 homers and a 1.104 OPS over 33 playoff games). His potential fit is further highlighted by the possibility of Ronald Acuña transitioning to a DH role next year.

Even in a challenging year, the Rays won’t part with Arozarena easily, but the fit with the Braves seems ideal.
