Leeds United have fended off competition from Brentford, Ipswich Town, and Leicester City to secure Joe Rodon, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. Rodon, who was on loan at Elland Road from Tottenham Hotspur last season, formed a strong central defensive partnership with Ethan Ampadu. With Archie Gray moving to Tottenham Hotspur permanently, Leeds quickly proposed Rodon in return.
Despite interest from three Premier League clubs, Rodon preferred to return to Leeds, where he enjoyed his previous stint. While his move is almost complete, the official announcement might be delayed until Tuesday. Bringing Rodon back will help mitigate the impact of losing Gray this summer.
