Four-star guard Acaden Lewis will make an official visit at Louisville

Louisville has scheduled an official visit with 2025 four-star guard Acaden Lewis. The visit, first reported by Travis Branham of 247Sports and confirmed by Cardinal Authority, will take place the weekend of August 30.

Lewis, a 6-foot-1 guard from Washington D.C., recently rose significantly in the 247Sports rankings, moving from No. 80 to No. 35 overall and now ranked as the No. 6 combo guard nationally. Branham attributes Lewis’ rise to his improved agility, quickness, shot-making, and playmaking abilities. Lewis is known for his versatility on the court, being a threat both on and off the ball, and his ability to change speeds and directions swiftly.

During an EYBL circuit stop in Kansas City, Lewis mentioned Louisville’s interest and the potential visit, noting that head coach Pat Kelsey offered him a spot. Lewis appreciated the offer from Kelsey, who praised his tenacity and ability to make smart plays.

Louisville is a historic program, and despite recent struggles, Lewis believes positive changes are coming. He has already made official visits to Florida State and Virginia, and has been on campus at Virginia Tech, Penn State, and Georgetown. His extensive list of scholarship offers includes prestigious programs such as Auburn, Connecticut, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, Oregon, St. John’s, Syracuse, Virginia, and Virginia Tech.

Lewis is the second player to schedule an official visit with Louisville, joining Top 20 wing Shelton Henderson, who is set to visit the weekend of August 23.
