A player from the 2023 San Francisco 49ers, who was part of the NFC Championship team, shared some noteworthy posts this month that garnered significant fan interest. However, the wide receiver, who is currently a free agent, has since deactivated his account.

Willie Snead IV called out the San Francisco 49ers for entitlement

As we’ve mentioned before on GH, Willie Snead IV shared a photo on his X account featuring his previous teams, the Carolina Panthers and the 49ers.

While [Arik] Armstead, a veteran team favorite on the defense, had a problem getting paid by the front office, Snead had the opposite problem in San Francisco. On his X account, Snead wrote the 49ers have an “entitlement” issue in their locker room. He hinted they don’t let players compete for playing time:

All I want is to go back to a team that isn’t afraid to let guys compete for a roster spot. These last 3 years been nothing short of entitlement… Competition breedz Champions, Snead wrote.

Snead wants to play in the AFC North

Shortly after that post, Snead followed up by expressing his desire to join the AFC North for the upcoming season.

Snead knows where he wants to go next. Snead posted another message on his X account telling the NFL world he wants to play for the AFC’s black and blue division:

“I need to be back in the AFC North. That brand of football is just different,” Snead wrote.

Snead deleted his X account

Not all the responses to Snead’s posts were positive, especially from 49ers supporters who were unhappy with his remarks about San Francisco. The reason for Snead’s removal of his X account is uncertain, as his Instagram account remains active. Nonetheless, X insists that the account is no longer accessible.
